During the period from March 30 to April 10 of the current academic year, Master's students of the 7M01505 – Biology educational program at Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University completed a scientific internship. Within the framework of the program “Methodological Foundations and Principles of Biological Research,” the students became acquainted with modern trends in biological science, the methodological foundations of scientific inquiry, and the fundamental principles of organizing research activities. The content of the internship was focused on mastering research methods aimed at solving fundamental and applied biological problems, analyzing and systematizing scientific information, as well as applying research results in practice.
The main objective of the program was to familiarize Master's students with the methodology of conducting scientific research in the field of biology and to develop skills for effectively applying the obtained results in the educational process. In achieving this objective, the students mastered the basic principles of biological research and gained in-depth knowledge of the stages, methods, and approaches of scientific work. In addition, they became familiar with modern laboratory and field research methods and developed skills in collecting, processing, and analyzing scientific data.
During the internship, the students identified relevant scientific problems, explored effective ways to solve them, and acquired skills in working with scientific information, interpreting data, and providing scientific justification for their findings. Furthermore, opportunities for integrating research results into the educational process and applying them in teaching practice were considered.
As a result of completing the internship, the Master's students developed a deep understanding of the methodological foundations of biological research, gained the ability to independently conduct scientific studies, effectively apply modern methods, and use research results in the educational process. Upon completion of the program, the students were awarded certificates.
