Scientific library ZKU them. M. Utemisova is holding a competition "Dauylpaz zhyrdyn tarlany", dedicated to the 220th anniversary of the birth of the poet, akyn, composer Makhambet Utemisov.
The purpose of the competition:
Promotion of creativity Makhambet, instilling love for the motherland, education of patriotism, love of poetry.
The competition consists of three stages:
1. Nomination "Uly Arman" - a drawing on the theme of the works of Makhambet.
2. "El kutkarlar er edim..." - expressive reading of Makhambet's works.
3. Nomination "Shashakty nayza, shalkar kuy" - performance of kuev.

Competition rules:
• Reading works no more than 3-5 minutes.
• Only students of the West-Kazakhstan University named after M.Utemisova.
• The participant must present the title of the work to the jury in advance for reading by heart.
Conditions of the competition
The competition will be held on April 19, 2023 in the building of the main building of ZKU. M.Utemisova in room 209 at 15.00.h
