The Primary Trade Union Committee of M. Utemisov West Kazakhstan state university conducts its activities on the basis of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Education", The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan on “Trade Unions”, the Charter of “Kazakhstani Branch of Professional Union of Education and Science Workers” and the Regulations on Primary Trade union organizations.
The activity of the trade union is based on the principles of the voluntary nature of its members, equality and initiative of the people belonging to the trade union. Its activities are carried out on the basis of openness, transparency, aimed at the joint definition of working conditions of employees, protection of the rights and legitimate interests of all participants in labor relations. Among them, the standardization of labor, the determination of the terms of payment for labor, the provision of safety and labor protection, the protection of socio-economic rights and interests, and participation in the conclusion of the Collective Agreement, the preparation of the employer for actions aimed at regulating labor relations, participation in resolving labor disputes - consideration of appeals) members of the trade union, providing them with social and material assistance, improving and resolving other internal issues.
The trade union, taking into account the status and sphere of activity of its members, proceeding from national and universal values, reaching them in scientific and industrial activities, undertakes obligations for promotion and professional education of workers.
According to the specified criteria, taking into account the fact that the union is realized on the basis of common professional interests - the Trade Union takes an active part in conducting the most part of the events at the university level.
The trade union committee, at an equal level of its participants, takes into account the rights and interests of all employees in its activities, presents them to the employer. On the basis of articles 19 and 20 of the Labor Code, the trade union is the subject of labor relations - a representative body of workers.
The trade union committee, as the executive body of the Trade Union, actively participates in the organization of the educational process, scientific and industrial activities, in the implementation of social policy, the realization of its social responsibility and the implementation of the University Development Strategy. Providing and observing the labor discipline, it promotes the implementation of the norms of the Labor Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, rules and regulations on labor safety, life and health of students and employees, in strengthening the intellectual resource and efficiency of the labor organization system.
