Biography

Rysbekov Tuyakbai Zeitovich - a prominent scientist, doctor of historical sciences, professor, academician was born July 25, 1947 in the village of Akkol, Talas district, Jambul region.

In 1965 he graduated with honors from the Pedagogical College. Abay in Dzhambul.

He began his career in Uch-Aral High School as a primary school teacher. In 1971 at the end of the Kazakh State University. Kirov (now KazGU named after Al-Farabi) was sent by the Ministry of Higher Education of the Kazakh SSR as a teacher to the Department of History of the USSR at the Ural Pedagogical Institute named after A.S. Pushkin (now West Kazakhstan State University named after M. Utemisov).

In 1977 he defended his Ph.D. thesis ahead of schedule at the graduate school of the Department of History of the Kazakh State University. Then he continues to work at UPI, first as a senior lecturer, and since 1979, as an assistant professor. From 1979 to 1989 headed the department of history, from 1988 to 1991. He was the dean of the Faculty of History.

In 1990 he defended his thesis for the degree of Doctor of Historical Sciences.

In 1991, T.Z. Rysbekov was approved by the professor and elected rector of the UPI named after A.S. Pushkin.

From 1996 to 2000 appointed rector of the West Kazakhstan Humanitarian University, 2000-2002 was the first vice-rector of the university and headed the department of history of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

2002-2003 worked as a secretary of the regional maslikhat. From 2003 to 2011, he was rector of West Kazakhstan State University named after M. Utemisova.

TZ Rysbekov wrote works on the problems of political and socio-economic development of Kazakhstan, national liberation movements, the development of education and higher education. (monographs “Councils of Kazakhstan (1938-1986)”, “Essays on the history of Kazakhstan”, “From the history of western Kazakhstan”, “History of the West Kazakhstan region”, “Studies of history”, “History of the native land”, “History of Bokeyevskaya hordes ”,“ My Kazakhstan ”). He, as the author of more than 200 scientific papers, including 8 monographs and scientific manuals, entered the database "List of leading scientists and teachers of higher educational institutions of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan."

Under his leadership, 9 graduate students defended their dissertations, more than 10 continue to work at present. Tuyakbai Zeitovich actively conducts public work in the region, has been repeatedly elected as a deputy of the city and regional maslikhats, is a member of the Politburo and Political Council of the Nur Otan Party.
