Biography
Darbaeva Tselen Yesenomanovna was born on July 29, 1950 in the village of Spartak, Priural District of the Ural region. After graduating from high school, he entered the Ural pedagogical Technical School. Later, he continued his studies at the Department of "geography" of the natural and geographical Faculty of the Ural Pedagogical Institute, where he graduated in 1976. From 1976 to 1980 he worked at the Department of Botany of the Ural Pedagogical Institute. In 1981-1983, he completed a scientific internship at the V. L. Komarov Institute of Botany of the USSR Academy of Sciences in Leningrad. In 1987 he defended his thesis on the topic" vegetation of Ravine systems of the middle reaches of the Ural River". In 1991, he was awarded the academic title of associate professor. In 2003, he defended his doctoral dissertation "flora of the chalk mountains of North-Western Kazakhstan" at the Botanical Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences in the specialty 03.00.05 "Botany". In 2005, the committee for supervision and certification in the field of Education and science of the Republic of Kazakhstan awarded the degree of Doctor of Biological Sciences in the specialty "Biology" and in 2009-the degree of Professor.
Currently, he works at the Department of biology and ecology of the West Kazakhstan University.
In addition to teaching, Karachaganak took part in 8 projects for the study of the oil and gas condensate field.
Darbaeva T. E. worked as a project manager on the topics:" preservation of unique living heritage and restoration of natural ecosystems of the West Kazakhstan Region "(Ministry of Environmental Protection of the Republic of Kazakhstan, 2008-2009)," conducting research work on the state of oak forests". Darbayeva Talshen Yesenomanovna devoted 40 years of scientific activity to the study of plants and plants and environmental problems of western Kazakhstan. Darbaeva T. E. is the author of about 170 scientific publications, including 7 monographs and 5 textbooks. He is also a co-author of collective monographs on educational and methodological developments in the field of Ecology and biology. He studied the Cretaceous heights of the Uralsk plateau, the Uralsk plateau, and the EMBA plateau within the Aktobe, Atyrau and West Kazakhstan regions.
The field of scientific interests and professional activity of T. E. Darbaev is the vegetation and vegetation of north – western Kazakhstan, including calcephitic and halophytic variants of the Ural River Basin, Eurasian steppes and Sahara-Gobi desert regions; geobotany, genesis of the flora of the Cretaceous mountains and forest, ravine systems of North-Western Kazakhstan.
For the first time in the scientific works of tselen Yesenomanovna, an inventory of the flora of North-West Kazakhstan was carried out and 938 species growing in the chalk massifs of the region were identified. For the first time, the territorial ecological history of protected plants was determined and a list of 186 species was compiled, of which 10 species are included in the Red Book of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and the rest are included in the Green Book of the West Kazakhstan region.

Tselen Yesenomanovna has raised many generations of scientific and pedagogical workers and has many students, many of whom later became specialists in the field of Ecology and biology in leading universities in Kazakhstan.
